Great stuff but the price is outrageous

Great stuff but the price is outrageous.

The item broke after about one week of use

The item broke after about one week of use. Then, when I reached out to the customer service department. I was told it I had to pay shipping cost for an item that failed in the field despite taking several photographs showing where it failed. To make matters worse, I was told when they finally receive the item back they need to inspect and determine if it even falls under warranty and that could take approximately 4-6 weeks. I explained that I use my tact vest several times a week during work and that the turn around time is unreasonable for someone who depends on that piece of gear. I ultimately just requested a refund. So the item was horrible as well as the customer service. Hopefully, something changes in the future because I actually like the most of the gear the company pushes out but this experience forced me to seek similar elsewhere. Some of my team members arenow doing the same so they don’t experience what I did.

At High Speed Gear, we stand behind our products with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In your case, our team responded promptly and offered to replace the item at no charge under our warranty process. Because this particular product is made to order rather than stocked inventory, we explained that a replacement would need to be remade, though we also communicated that we expected to turn it around faster than our normal production lead time.

When timing did not meet your immediate operational needs, we honored your request for a refund instead, including accommodating shipping costs in this instance.

We understand that dependable gear and minimal downtime matter, especially for working professionals. Had a faster replacement path been required, we also would have been more than willing to help identify authorized dealers within our network who may have had inventory available for a more immediate solution.

While we regret that this resolution did not align with your expectations, we remain committed to taking care of our customers and standing behind our products.
